The Rey Juan Carlos University Hospital in Móstoles opened in 2012, and since then, one of its main priorities has been delivering the highest quality care to patients with fragility fractures, particularly hip fractures. Our Fracture Prevention Unit stands out for its coordinated, multidisciplinary approach, with a dedicated Orthogeriatrics Unit at its core. We firmly believe that multidisciplinary teamwork is essential in managing these complex patients.

Lishui Municipal Central Hospital, located in southwestern Zhejiang Province, is a tertiary Grade A comprehensive hospital. Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, is a specialized disease center in the central Zhejiang region, a provincial and ministerial co built discipline in Zhejiang Province, a key discipline in Lishui City, and a clinical medical research center for orthopedic diseases in Lishui City. Our Fracture Liaison Service is dedicated to both primary and secondary prevention of osteoporosis. We provide coordinated, multidisciplinary care to reduce the risk of initial and recurrent fractures in at-risk populations. During the visit, the patient undergoes a bone densitometry, blood tests, physiotherapy and dietary assessments, as well as rheumatology consultation to support treatment decision-making. 

The Department of Orthopaedics at Xinhua Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, is a national and hospital-level key discipline. It is a comprehensive clinical center for the full life-cycle management of orthopedic conditions, integrating medical care, education, and research. The department has 115 open beds and a staff of 38 physicians, including 7 chief physicians and 15 associate chief physicians, with 4 serving as doctoral supervisors.

The Fracture Liaison Service program started since Feb, 2024 until present. This is a multidisciplinary osteoporosis program under the leadership of a senior orthopedic surgeon Dato Mr. Parameswaran, in collaboration with the hospital quality team, nurses, and physiotherapist. The program aims to improve early identification, prevention, and management of osteoporosis among the high risk patients' aged 50 and above. Key components include: 

1. Developing clinical pathways for fracture risk assessment and osteoporosis management.

大腿骨近位部骨折を全例対象とし約9割治療を開始している。外来でも2年間のフォローを行っている。
