当院は、三重県の中南勢地域における基幹病院として公的医療機関の使命を担い、地域住民に高度で安全な医療を提供する体制を整備しています。骨折リエゾンチームでは、整形外科医師、内科医師、薬剤師3名(1名は日本骨粗鬆症学会認定骨粗鬆症マネージャ資格保有)、看護師(FFNJ認定FLSコーディネーター認定看護師資格保有)、理学療法士、診療放射線技師、管理栄養士、メディカルソーシャルワーカー、事務職員により構成されています。

チームけやき整形外科クリニックでは、二次性骨折予防のためチーム一丸で取り組んでいます。

骨粗鬆症マネージャー取得者が10名所属・活動しています。

恐怖はリハビリテーション病院であり、急性期病院での手術加療等が終了した患者を受け入れている。 急性期病院で骨粗鬆症の加療が開始されている患者が4割程度いるが、その加療薬が適切であるかの評価も行っている。

Small hospital with the advantage to try to fully screen to fragility fractures and to reach all patients. For the patients who were'nt reached, an informative letter to the GP is sent out. We foresee for the high risk patients a diagnostic workout with BMD (and RX of spine if necessary) and suggest treatment. After 3 months, patients are called for the adherence/compliance and some further medical visits are made by then. We hope in this way to contribute to a lower fracture rate in our aging population.

The Osteoporosis care path FLS at az Sint Blasius is a multidisciplinary collaboration between departments of geriatrics, endocrinology, rheumatology, radiology, physical medicine, orthopedic surgy and neurosurgey, in close connection with every department of the hospital because of the importance of fracture prevention.
