Orthogeriatric Unit

The FLS of ZGT is founded in 2005 by dr. J.H. Hegeman and dr. D. van der Velde (trauma surgeons).

The aim of our FLS is to include all patients of 50 years and older with a recent fracture for our fracture prevention program. 

Over the years we have improve our FLS. The base of advice en interventions to our patients is the national guideline 'Osteoporose en fractuurpreventie'.

La filière fracture du GHSO propose aux patients ayant été victime d'une fracture par fragilité osseuse, une évaluation complète (recherche de facteurs de risques de fracture, densitométrie osseuse, bilan biologique à la recherche d'une ostéopathie fragilisante curable, radiographies à la recherche de fractures vertébrales occultes).

Cette évaluation peut donner lieu à une consultation spécialisée au cours de laquelle une prise en charge adaptée sera initiée (début d'un traitement, orientation vers un bilan de chute en hôpital de jour etc.).  

El Hospital General de Querétaro es un hospital de concentración del estado y de algunas zonas aledañas. El servicio naciente se conforma de la colaboración con Ortopedia y Geriatría valorando a los pacientes desde urgencias y en piso dando riesgo quirúrgico hasta la evaluación subsecuente en la consulta externa 4-6 semanas después del evento quirúrgico y seguimiento posterior, la consulta se lleva a cabo los días viernes de 7:00 a 10:00

El Hospital de Viladecans es un hospital comarcal que atiende a varias poblaciones del Baix Llobregat. En dicho hospital trabajamos 4 reumatólogos y 1 enfermera con dedicación plena. También dispondemos de una psicóloga para la unidad de fibromialgia. Disponemos de ecógrafo propio y de videocapilaroscopia. Atendemos patología inflamatoria, fibromialgia, patología de partes blandas y osteoporosis. 

Kayseride Türkiyenin merkezinde diğer illerden de hasta kabul edilen bir hastanede çalışmaktayız. Sadece Kasım ayında FTR (Fizik Tedavi ve Rehabilitasyon) Kliniğimize ayaktan 7600 hasta başvurmuştur. Yatak kapasitemiz 150'dir.

AUB.MC serves a population reaching 300,000 patients per year. The hospital capacity reaches 350 beds.
The number of hip fracture patients admitted to AUBMC during 2009-2010, 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 was derived from the hospital medical record statistics using ICD codes for fractured hip including: inter-trochanteric fracture (82021), sub-trochanteric fracture (82022), trans-trochanteric fracture (82020) and head of femur sub-capital fracture (82009) and it is as the following:
2009-2010: 89 patients
2010-2011: 106 patients
2011-2012: 90 patients

Our multidisciplinary liaison team consists of medical doctors including both internists and orthopedic surgeons, nurses, registered dietitians, pharmacists, physical therapists and office workers.  

Serviço de Reumatologia com consulta protocolada com o Serviço de ortopedia para identificação de doentes com fratura da anca.
