Directed by lead clinicians Dr. Rodriguez Solis,Dra Teresa Pareja Sierra and Dr Guijarro, the Orthogeriatrics Unit in University Hospital of Guadalajara  has been running since 2007. The public district hospital is located near to Madrid and serves a population of around 250,000 people, half of them from rural areas.

The Orthogeriatric Co-Management program in Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá, is led by Dr. Carlos Mario Olarte, orthopedic surgeon and fellow on pelvis and hip trauma. Our program was first stablished in 2008 and it has been operational ever since, working hand in hand with the geriatrics, anesthesiology and emergency departments. We treat patients 65 years and older who suffer fractures due to fragility. Around 400 patients every year.

Since 2018, the Taichung Veterans General Hospital Fracture Liason Service, directed by Superintendent, Wayne H-H Sheu, have been enrolling new fracture patients from neurosurgery, orthopedic, endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatology and chest medicine departments. The public tertiary referral center is located in Taichung City, Taiwan and serves a population of around 3.6 million people.
