TH1 FLS — Thonburi Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand

Thonburi Hospital's Fracture Liaison Service (TH1 FLS) was established in 2017 under the leadership of Prof. Aasis Unnanantana (Orthopedic Surgery) and coordinated by an experienced orthopedic nursing team. The service primarily focuses on hip fracture patients, with 186 fragility fracture patients managed in the most recent 12-month period, including 98 hip fractures.

The Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) at Kedah Medical Centre comprises a team of healthcare professionals who work together to prevent subsequent fractures in patients who have had a fragility fracture.

Teruel es una población muy envejecida en la que las fracturas por fragilidad tienen un peso asistencial destacado. Concienciados de ello, tanto traumatologos como geriatras crearon en el 2007 una unidad multidisiplinar para el manejo adecuado de la fractura de cadera en el anciano (ortogeriatria).

El aprendizaje y el trabajo en equipo nos ha hecho tomar conciencia de que el futuro pasa por la prevención. También en fracturas osteoporóticas de otras clases.
