“A small fraction of patients who are at critical need of a treatment for osteoporosis receive an appropriate management. Implementing a Fracture Liaison Service helps to identify such patients and to provide them with an integrated care that will eventually reduce their fracture risk, improve their quality of life and decrease health resources utilization. Fracture Liaison Service helps filling the treatment gap of osteoporosis and subsequently, corresponds to a clinical, social, economic and ethical strategy.”
