A public teaching hospital, Tallaght Hospital started a Fracture Liaison Service in 2009 that serves over 750 patients per year. Located in Dublin, Ireland it serves a population of 500,000. Led by Professor David Kane and Dr. Tara Coughlan, the fracture liaison service works with hip, inpatient and outpatient services.

Counties Manukau Health has three hospital sites. Middlemore Hospital is the main hospital, with satellite sites being the Manukau Surgical Centre and Pukekohe Hospital.
