Our Fracture Prevention Clinic is a collaboration between the departments of Geriatrics,  Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Orthopedics. A designated nurse helps the physicians to identify the patients with osteoporosis, provides information on treatment and follow-up. The clinicians evaluate the patients that are admitted with a fracture and start treatment when osteoporosis is confirmed. Specialized programs are available to provide fall assessments, rehabilitation en strength training.
