En Chu Kong Hospital

The En Chu Kong Hospital Osteoporotic Fracture Integrated Care Center aims to increase the screening rate for osteoporosis. After completing osteoporosis screening, for patients who are at high risk or who have already experienced osteoporotic fractures, the center has established a comprehensive integrated care system. This system provides related examinations, treatment arrangements, and consultations in order to improve patients’ adherence to clinical treatment.

The center is composed of professionals from multiple specialties. These include physicians from departments related to osteoporosis care, such as Family Medicine, Surgery (including Orthopedics and Neurosurgery), Internal Medicine (including Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Nephrology), Obstetrics and Gynecology, Rehabilitation Medicine, Pain Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine.

The team also includes physical therapists, nurses, and case managers (coordinators), who are responsible for essential communication, coordination, and the arrangement of various aspects of patient care.
