Sengkang General Hospital
Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) was establised in December 2023. SKH FLS is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary care model designed to prevent secondary fractures. FLS specializes in assessing patients who have experienced fragility fractures and providing counselling in both osteoporosis and fall prevention.
The service aims to:
- Provide counselling on osteoporosis condition
- Evaluate osteoporosis risk factors
- Explore pharmacological management plan
- Educate on non-pharmacological lifestyle modification
- Perform fall risk assessment
- Provide tailored fall prevention strategies
