FUZHOU SECOND GENERAL HOSPITAL
The Department of Osteointernal Medicine of Fuzhou Second General Hospital was officially established in January 2021. It is the earliest hospital in Fujian Province to set up this orthopedic subspecialty and currently the only one of its kind in the province.
Guided by the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic patients, the department focuses on common orthopedic diseases, osteoporosis and osteoporotic fractures, bone and joint diseases, as well as bone and soft tissue pain. It provides diagnosis, prevention and non-surgical treatment for multi-system and multi-organ diseases related to the musculoskeletal system, delivering all-round, personalized and continuous orthopedic diagnosis and treatment services to patients.
In the field of orthopedics, this department ensures proper and reasonable management of conditions that are not suitable for surgical treatment, such as bone metabolic diseases, bone and joint diseases, and complications and sequelae of limb trauma. By integrating multiple disciplines and specialties, it achieves the integration of orthopedic internal and external care, as well as the integration of medical staff and patients, thus enabling patients to receive all-round, personalized and continuous orthopedic diagnosis and treatment services.
