Quanzhou Orthopedic-traumatological Hospital

Quanzhou Orthopedic Hospital as a specialized orthopedic facility, currently occupies a land area of 65,000 square meters and  employs 1,061 staff members. Our annual surgical volume reaches 11,000 procedures. In 2024, we recorded  548,000 outpatient visits  and  29,500 inpatient admissions . As an orthopedic specialty   hospital, over  80% of our patients present with orthopedic-related conditions , including fractures and bone diseases.
We pioneered the establishment of an  Osteoporosis Department  within our region. We were among the first institutions locally to  implement  DEXA scanning , perform  bone metabolism  biochemical testing , and utilize  anti-osteoporosis medications  such as zoledronic acid ,  denosumab , and  teriparatide .
As part of our Osteoporosis Department's initiatives, we were also one of the earliest hospitals in the region to implement a  Fracture  Liaison Service (FLS)  program.
