Centro de Reumatología y Enfermedades Óseas Rosario
Reumatología Rosario is a specialized medical center providing comprehensive outpatient care for rheumatologic, endocrinologic and metabolic bone diseases. The center serves as a regional referral center for patients with bone fragility and osteoporotic fractures.
Our Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) provides coordinated secondary fracture prevention for adults with fragility fractures, integrating rheumatology, endocrinology, nephrology, internal medicine, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
The center has an in-house bone densitometry service, including DXA and vertebral fracture assessment, as well as resources for body composition and muscle function assessment. Patients undergo systematic assessment of fracture risk, secondary causes of osteoporosis, vertebral fractures, falls and lifestyle-related risk factors, followed by individualized treatment and longitudinal follow-up.
Clinical information is prospectively recorded in a dedicated electronic REDCap registry, allowing monitoring of patient identification, assessment, treatment and follow-up and supporting continuous quality improvement and clinical research.
