Taipei Medical University Hospital
Taipei Medical University Hospital (TMUH) was the first affiliated hospital of Taipei Medical University (TMU), laying the foundation for a dynamic exchange between clinical services and academic research. Committed to providing high-quality healthcare, TMUH has continuously improved its medical services, enhanced infrastructure, and incorporated cutting-edge smart healthcare technologies. Today, TMUH has expanded to nearly 800 beds and employs over 2,000 staff members, positioning itself as a benchmark for medium-sized hospitals both domestically and internationally.
TMUH has established an Osteoporosis Center to provide comprehensive evaluations and specialized care for patients who have already experienced osteoporotic fractures. In line with our commitment to improving bone health, we launched the Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) in 2023 to ensure patients receive thorough assessments and personalized treatment plans.
Our center offers a multidisciplinary approach, including bone density testing, muscle strength evaluation, blood tests, fracture risk assessment, and medication reviews. These comprehensive assessments help us identify risk factors and optimize treatment strategies for each patient. Additionally, we provide osteoporosis treatment plans to prevent secondary fractures, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and quality of life.
At TMUH, we are dedicated to delivering advanced orthopedic care, integrating cutting-edge medical research with clinical expertise to support both prevention and recovery.
