Nordsjællands Hospital, Hillerød

Nordsjællands Hospital is a public hospital serving 315,000 people. The Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) targets patients aged 50 and above with fragility fractures.

Since 2009, the hospital has operated an FLS for hip fracture patients. In 2018, the service was expanded to include all fragility fractures.

The service has been progressively developed over time, with strengthening of the organisational structure in 2022 and further enhancements in 2024, including initiation of treatment during admission for hip fracture patients.
