Loma Linda University Health/Loma Linda University Medical Center

The LLUMC/LLUH Fracture Liaison Service is directed by Dr. Karina Torralba (Rheumatology) since 2016, and co-directed with Dr Christina Downey (Rheumatology) since 2017. LLUMC is located in Loma Linda, California in the USA, mid-way between downtown Los Angeles and Palm Springs. It is the only tertiary medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center with an Acute Rehabilitation unit in the Inland Empire (IE) of California. A population of 4 million people live in the IE and is primarily comprised of the counties of San Bernardino and Riverside. The Fracture Liaison Service at LLUMC/LLUH is a collaborative effort headed up by the Division of Rheumatology, and supported by the Division of Endocrinology, Division of Geriatrics, and Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
