The Osteoporosis and Bone Disease Department at Jiangxi Provincial People’s Hospital is among the earliest in the province to implement osteoporosis prevention and treatment. We focus on bone health management and secondary fracture prevention through a multidisciplinary team of orthopedic specialists, endocrinologists, rehabilitation therapists, nurses, and administrative staff. Our services cover the full continuum of care—from screening and diagnosis to treatment and rehabilitation. The department is equipped with advanced DXA bone density scanners, imaging facilities, and laboratory testing, enabling precise assessment and individualized treatment plans. These include pharmacological therapy, lifestyle interventions, and rehabilitation guidance. We actively promote the Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) model, maintain a patient database, and conduct systematic follow-up to reduce the risk of subsequent fractures. Guided by a patient-centered approach, we strive to improve quality of life and aim to become a regional leader in osteoporosis prevention and management.
