National Hospital Organization, Kanazawa Medical Center

Kanazawa Medical Center is a traditional hospital with a history spanning over 150 years, founded in 1873 as the Kanazawa Garrison Hospital on the grounds of Kanazawa Castle. In 1899 it relocated to its current site on the Kodatsuno Plateau, adjacent to Kenroku-en. We launched our Fracture Liaison Service in 2017. We provide comprehensive osteoporosis treatment for all types of fragility fractures, including distal radius fractures as well as proximal femoral and vertebral fractures.
