Our FLS is a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) led by the Department of General Practice, with core members from Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Medicine. We systematically identify patients with fragility fractures, offer bone health assessment, bone mineral density testing, fall risk evaluation, osteoporosis medication management, rehabilitation guidance and long-term follow-up. We focus on integrated whole-person care for older adults with multiple comorbidities. The service aims to reduce secondary fracture risk, improve functional recovery, and facilitate continuous bone health management. All procedures follow the IOF FLS standards and national osteoporosis guidelines.
